Todorov's suggested that conventional narratives are structured in five stages:
A state of equilibrium at the outset.
A disruption of the equilibrium.
A recognition that there has been a disruption.
An attempt to repair the disruption.
A reinstatement of the equilibrium.
This type of narrative structure is familiar to us and can be used on many 'mainstream' film narratives.
Good understanding but it would be more useful to create a presentation outlining your production's application of this theory by identifying the key stages and explaining why only a selection will appear in the opening sequence.
